It’s my favorite part of Thursday morning
I can’t tell you how much I look forward to the half hour between 8:30 and 9:00 every Thursday morning… but I’ll try. This is the time when Dave, Ken & Molly from 92.9 ZZU carry a segment on the radio called “The Panel of Women”. This is where Dave reads off survey answers from popular women’s magazines or shows about how women think or react to everyday situations or experiences with men.
I admit I listen for educational purposes but also for the entertainment factor. KXLY4’s very own Kalae Chock and Melissa Luck are on the panel. These young ladies are hillarious and really smart.
Anyway, one topic discussed this morning was “4 things that guys do to kill the mood in bed”. Of course there’s no topic called “4 things women do to kill the mood in bed” that’s because there’s only one. Laugh. I digress.
One thing that all the women agreed on was ‘wearing socks’. It wasn’t in the top 4 but good to know. From what I remember, the four things were watching t.v., making a comment about their body, moving too fast and popping jokes. Noted.
Another topic discussed was the quality of shoes that men wear. As in, “can you tell if a man’s shoes are cheap?” The answer was yes. Melissa said she’d rather the guy wear ratty tennis shoes than cheap shoes, especially if the shoe has a buckle! I immediately ran through the short rolodex of shoes in my closet and was relieved to know… it’s a NO BUCKLE ZONE. But, Melissa said, if the buckle on the shoe matches a buckle elsewhere in their outfit, then it might be alright.
So unless you’re a Pilgram guys, drop the buckles.

My wife listens to this morning show and she seems to enjoy it , I wish they would play more music.
Is this appropriate content for a news blog? I would expect this from Cosmo or Entertainment Tonight, not a news station-but maybe I am old fashioned.
Missy, the KXLY4 News at 5:00 blog has something for everyone. This is a place where I can bring my own thoughts and pictures to life, sharing my personal perspective on events in the news, on the radio and in the community across the Inland Northwest.
I apologize for Dave, Ken and Molly if the content on their radio program offends you.
If there’s specific content you’d like to hear me comment about, my email is always open
Dave,
With your triathlon physique, I doubt you have to worry about us laughing. Keep up the good work– and the working out!!!
