		<description>kalae,
those are the exact same sentiments i have about pullman and wsu! every time my 16 yr old son has spirit day for the apple cup at school i give him the talk about how he can thank wsu for his existence at all! i was reluctant and non-committal when i started there, too, and remember some very tearful drop-offs in the what seemed like the middle of nowhere after a lovely summer on the west side of the state. but pullman has a special place in my heart because it is there that i decided to go on an exchange program just to do it. it was that exchange program that led me to the job i have today and to meeting the man i married - wsu is where i met my husband who was there on an exchange program, too! i remember having the exact same feelings you described the first time i took my son to pullman and walked through the campus with him. yeah... pullman is special indeed.
:-)
