
I’m milking that “shell” joke for all it’s worth. I made chocolate shell ice cream topping on the show today and even impressed myself. Bonus: you get the recipe!
It’s two ingredients and oh-so-easy to make. I actually couldn’t stop making it… and then over dosed on the stuff with all of my self-imposed mandatory taste tests.
1. Coconut oil, 1/2 cup (which is “healthy” fat in the sense that your body can easily break it down)
2. Any chocolate bar you want 3-4 oz.
Melt the coconut oil over low heat, add chocolate, stir, drizzle over ice cream, enjoy.
I made a dark chocolate version and a mint chocolate version, but I’m dying to try the spicy chocolate and/or bacon chocolate. Wouldn’t that be divine?

I did not see the piece, but does it have a coconut flavor?
Nope – coconut oil has very, very little if any coconut flavor to it. Especially the unrefined version. Try it out! I think you’ll like it.
