Lack of Christmasyness

So, I’ve noticed that a lot of people don’t have Christmas lights this year.

Maybe its just me, maybe its just the areas that I frequent that don’t have the lights, but it seems like there are tons of homes that don’t have any lights or decorations at all.

I drove down a street last night and out of 20 homes there were probably 2 that had lights. Another street didn’t have one lit house. What’s up with that? That’s just messed up.

I know that these are tough economic times, I know lights cost money, I know extra power costs money, but come on people! Last I checked its only Christmas once a year, put your stinking lights up!

Is Spokane suffering from a lack of Christmasyness?
