Safeway Club Card

This is a Cool Click for those who hate clipping coupons, but know they have to do it. I’m one of you.

There’ s nothing attractive about clipping coupons – from organizing them to remembering to bring them to the store to juggling the coupons along with your shopping list and the grocery cart. Yeck!

Well forget clipping coupons if you’re a Safeway Club Card holder because you can now load coupons onto your card online. Then when you scan your card at the checkout stand the register recognizes the coupons and slashes the prices automatically! Wowza! I love it.

What if I can’t remember what coupons are on my card? Well the site lets you print a list of what coupons you have chosen. Don’t want to? Well bonus surprise then when the total starts melting away!

The drawback I see in this method is that there aren’t many coupons offered… yet. I also didn’t find any other grocery store participating in this program but who knows… maybe it’ll catch on.

Check it out for yourself by clicking here.

ack…more ways for Safeway to track my every move (and purchase).

I take great joy in still using the same safeway club card number that I’ve used since high school…and which my sister, mother, and father all use. The reason: none of us live in the zip code where we first signed up for the card…and we all live in different zip codes from each other.

    track THAT Safeway.
