Thanks to the help of a massive blue screen in our studio I was able to actually ‘attend’ the inauguration. Granted I was stepping on a few heads while I was there, but it was still cool none-the-less and deserves to be dubbed a ‘Cool Click.’
Can you see the White House in the picture below? What’s neat about this new Microsoft technology called ‘Photosynth’ is that you can start clicking and it will take you closer and closer until you can actually see President Obama with his right hand raised.
Photosynth takes hundreds of 2D pictures and turns them into a 3D world. It’s still in the beta testing stage or version 1.0 so it’s not perfect, but the experience is still really fun.
