Whatever happened to common sense?………
I’m Mike Fitzsimmons with commentary on 920-KXLY…….
If you pay close attention to the narrative from the White House these days, you can’t help but recognize the thinking of the Obama administration.   President Obama is telling us that he refuses to place on the shoulders of the fifty percent of Americans who do not pay any income taxes, the burden of the other fifty percent,  who do pay taxes, but refuse to pay their fair share.   While that sounds a bit strange, it is an accurate restatement of the President’s redistribution of wealth philosophy and only one of the moronic kinds of logic that propel the big government mentality that drives Obama’s domestic agenda.
Here is another.   As you know, lately President Obama has been called the food stamp president.   That’s because the food stamp program, which is under the authority of the Department of Agriculture is distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.  Food stamp recipients have increased from an average of 28.2 million people per month in fiscal year 2008 to 46.2 million as of the end of 2011.   The Obama administration is pleased to be providing for so many Americans.      Meanwhile, the National Park Service, which is part of the US Department of the Interior, consistently asks us to, “Please Do Not Feed the Animals” because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.
These are but a few examples of the absolute insanity that prevails in the ever-growing big brother government environment of Barack Obama and his merry band of radical liberals who run this country.   All this madness drains the national treasury and threatens present and future Americans with a massive burdensome debt.    What’s needed now are statesmen, men and women who provide true leadership, in the White House and in the Congress.   It’s time for the adults to run the country again.
