Nostalgia

Looking at old stuff makes me sad. It makes me feel all nostalgic, makes me realize how time flies, how your kids grow up so fast, how you blink and everything has changed.

That just happened as I looked back over the last few years of my blog. Reading about our first house, our move to our new one, discovering I’m pregnant with one and then two kids. Writing about them growing up, their adventures, life at home and here at KXLY, my work as morning anchor and my move to night. A lot can happen in life very quickly.

It’s cool to see it all change, but it makes you miss the old times. Guess that’s why they say all of those clichés that ring so true, like cherish every minute. I remember when I blogged at home on maternity leave with Leialoha about becoming a mom for the first time. Now, just four short years later, I’m sending her off to preschool.
