A big dose of winter weather is about to be unleashed on the Inland Northwest. Many of you woke up to the first measurable snow of the season this morning, and there is A LOT more to come. This month’s long-range forecast from the Climate Prediction Center doesn’t hold many surprises. Above average precipitation is still forecast for the next three months, which can be attributed directly to a borderline-strong La Nina in the tropical Pacific Ocean. The temperature forecast is less certain: there is nothing to indicate that our temperatures will be considerably cooler or warmer than average. To read more about the extended forecast CLICK HERE.
