Just another DIY Tuesday…

BOttle

When I dip into the petty cash to buy velcro, a ketchup bottle and pancake batter… you just know a DIY is on the way.

I’ve been lucky enough to do some pretty cool projects on Good Morning Northwest in addition to my regular news reporting duties. I loves me some hard news, but being on a morning show means I can also let loose and have  a little fun, too.

On Tuesdays I present Do It Yourself projects – I’ve done everything from making homemade laundry detergent to opening wine bottles with shoes (which is really difficult by the way!).

This Tuesday, I’m bringing in a ketchup bottle, Velcro, pancake batter, paper towel tubes and plastic grocery bags…. I’m calling it “miscellaneous day.”

LINKIES!

Pancake Batter Dispenser

Food Bowl Securer

Grocery Bag Keeper

P.S. Later on in November we’re going to baste a ham with soda and see what happens.

    How fun!

I’ve used cola on roast the the crock pot, it makes a pretty tender meat with a little bit of sweet. I’ve also heard of people doing the same thing with lemon-lime soda, maybe something to consider.
